I didn’t expect to be so moved by such simple scenes of my family. There’s a quiet intimacy in these photos like little moments you’d normally overlook. Somehow, it made me slow down and notice more in my own day. Really special work.

Honestly, I booked the session on a whim and felt kind of ridiculous doing a solo shoot with no big event or reason behind it. I was nervous, even a little self-conscious. But somehow, during the shoot, all of that melted away and the pictures ended up being some of my absolute favorites of me.
